My thesis primarily focuses on applying a LCA approach to investigate the carbon footprint of various aspects of dairy farming in the agro-pastoral ecotone of China. These aspects include forage processing and storage, manure management, and feeding practices. The goal is to identify sustainable development strategies for future dairy farms in China, particularly in terms of site selection, forage processing, and feeding management.
